In 1918 Thomas R. Young Sr. began as a delivery driver and worked his way up to managing partner.  After his service in the Korean War Thomas R. Young Jr. joined the company in the 1950’s, together they bought the business and changed the name.  The current CEO Thomas R. Young III (Tommy) joined the company in 1974 after his graduation from The Citadel and his son Thomas the fourth generation is now the President and General Manager of the Young Office locations.  Thomas looks forward to the future and building on the heritage put in place by his great-grandfather, grandfather and father bringing you the best possible products and service unmatched in the Upstate.  10,000 of the 45,000 square foot Spartanburg location is dedicated to the RoomChoices by Young home furnishings showroom.
